CM's on the phone have also told people they could use extra days on a non park hopping ticket to park hop and all sorts of other things that aren't accurate. I take what they say with a grain of salt. Check at the time at the resort for the answer.

So I can't use two single day admissions on a non-park hopping ticket to go into two different parks in one day?

Just to clarify meaning. If I had 3 days admission left, I can't use one for MK and one for Epcot say in the same day? Which would then only leave me with one day admission left?

No

I am not sure if this is arcasm or no, but i am ansering anyway. If you don't pay the $50 per person to park hop you can only get into one park per day, no matter how many days admission you have left. I just added a day to our passes for $3 per person. No one would pay to hop if you could just use an extra day.

When we stayed Club Level at a Disney resort, which shall remain nameless, the Concierge learned that we had some family members staying in a condo offsite.

The Concierge told us to feel free to bring our family members up to the lounge to enjoy the food and view, even if they weren't staying at the hotel!!!

Okay, okay -- start squealing now, people. I can hear it already:

"When I pay for Club Level (or get a free upgrade!), it's my lounge, it's my food, I don't want my lounge crowded with non-guests, get your interloping condo-staying relatives out of my space -- blah, blah, blah."

So, if the lesson is don't listen to the CM's -- the really big lesson here is don't listen to the random busybodies posting on the Dis.

Disney is far more relaxed about their rules than the people posting on these boards.

As the CM said, bring your friends to swim at SSR, and don't worry about it!

And, don't forget that if there are fewer than the maximum number booked in the room at SSR, your friends can add your kids to their room as hotel guests for no extra cost!

Sorry but whatever happened to you get what you pay for?

If I want to use the concierge facilities I pay for concierge, if I want the kids to swim at SAB, I pay for YC/BC. The lounges and pools are quite busy enough with PAYING guests.

OP you got the answer that you wanted to hear from a CM...Why come on here and stir this up? :confused3

You knew it would cause an uprising? Good Lord, my 8 year old has better sense. :headache:

Now that's really interesting.
I'm member at a foreign Florida/Disney board. Many members go to Florida but almost never stay onside.
Correct me as I'm wrong but this means we would be able to have a reunion at the Grand Floridian pool as long as one of us is staying there?

Last May we talked about a gathering somewhere in Orlando but a free gathering at the GF pool would be soooooooo cool.
And taking the "your guests are our guests" a step further does this also include the concierge club amenities? I remember DIS members were advocating this also.
So this would mean we could invite 20 or 30 people let them swim for free and if possible let them eat and drink for free at the lounge of the Sugar Loaf club.

Well lets see how many of us are going next May :lmao:

Ridiculous comparison and not funny!

OP; thanks for the info. Especially helpful to families traveling together; specifically those upgraded like yourself.

Well, I'm sure some would, since isn't 10 days the longest ticket you can get? We were just there for 7 days so would have only been able to park hop on three, and we went into multiple parks on many days, and bought the park hopper for this purpose.

But I do see your point, and I was not being sarcastic, it's why I clarified the question to be sure that I was understood. I did not know that. I figured the tickets were mine to do what I wanted with.

No problem here with that, but we should all keep in mind that eventually, like everything else, it will be abused to the point where it won't be allowed. It all depends on the circumstances.

Bringing a few kids to swim at SSR is a whole lot different than showing up at WL on July 4 with your extended family in tow.

I'll be willing to bet it won't be long before every resort starts issuing wrist bands like Storm Along Bay.

Instead of your friends visiting you at your resort to swim there because it's not allowed, why not spend the day at Blizzard Beach or Tyhpoon Lagoon?

There's a big difference between swimming at a water park and relaxing at the pool.

Forgive me as being new here, but why should this post cause an uprising?
Why not ask a question and post the answer a CM gave you - isn't that what this board is for? I see nothing wrong with doing what she plans on doing - as long as she gets the ok from the necessary people at the resort. If someone is that upset about it, complain to Disney. Obviously, this is more of a soft rule than a hard one - except in the case of YC/BC.

Maybe because its a forum :confused3? My 7 year old has better manners.

Disney allowes this and if you ask on most occasions Disney allows pool hopping. That is why I love Disney, they decide what they will allow people to do without asking the opinions of people on the dis boards. The number of times I have had people say Disney doesn't allow such and such and being told I could not have done or witnessed something is highly amusing.

I have to go fill up my coffee. nobody respond until I get back. This is getting good and I don't want to miss anything.

This is just not such a big deal for most of the resorts (unless the pool is crowded). Occasionally, a few Florida family members have spent the day with us at our resort pool (POP and POR). I just don't see it as a huge deal. The much bigger deal at the pools is general behavior. Last year at POR there was a huge group (paying guests of POR) who were smoking, tipping over lounge chairs, throwing each other in the water over little kids, etc. They were gently "talked to" once, but not much else was done about them. I would rather have a few well-behaved guests of paying customers than even one unsocialized registered resort guest.

The 'random busybodies' was rather harsh, don't you think? People were asked for an opinion and they are giving their opinion.

Ok, I"m back. You can all resume

Wait.....4 people responded since I left. I though I told everyone to wait until I get back. Sheesh
