Pool view at AKL...

Anyone had this before? Opinions? Could you see any animals, too? Walk to Mara and lobby OK?
We've been once before and were on the complete END. It was a long walk...............

We were there last month and had 3 standard view rooms which we loved. I would even wish to have these rooms again if we were going for standard view but we'd like to pay for pool view next trip. It seemed so pretty at night. I'd love some opinions too please.

We were there in late April, early May and had a pool view room (upgraded from standard). I think our room number was 410 which meant that it was not that far down from the main elevators, quiteconvenient I thought. I was great because those are the same elevators that take you right to Boma, Jiko and the pool.

We could not see any animals from where we were, just a great view of the pool, though we heard no pool noise.
