Pool View at AKL

Just curious if you can exit from your room out to the pool from the poolview rooms (if you are on the first floor).

If you are on the first floor, can you see much of the pool area or just whats right outside your room?

Im so excited, we've never been to AKL!

Here are a couple of photos of the general pool area. I don't have any closeups of anyones back porch on the pool area.

If you look at the bottom floor, some of them have a lot of plants growing in front of the porch areas. I think that I remember seeing that the do have direct access for walking onto the pool area, but most are going to have "obstructed" views due to foliage.

I'm not sure about this but if I remember correctly most of the 1st floor surrounding the pool is restaurant windows, etc. So I would guess that the 1st floor rooms are actually on the 2nd floor facing the pool.

Maybe a higher floor would be better. Looks like the lower floors dont have much of a view.

If, however, they have direct access to the pool that might be worth the tradeoff. Has anyone stayed in a first floor pool view room at AKL? Please share!
