POol towels provided?

Hey - I'm staying at POR and trying to minimize packing.
So do they provide towels for the pool? A lot of hotels don't allow you to bring your room towel to beach or pool so wanted to check.
We will be going to the beach earlier in the trip but staying with family so don't need to worry.
And I remember rumours about no more shampoo- do I need to bring my own?
Any other things you always bring from home or love that you don't have to bring?

Yes, POR provides pool towels. I know there was a time when they were only provided at the main pool and not at the "quiet" pools, but the last time I was at POR (3 years ago), there were towels at the quiet pools.

There is shampoo provided. The change at POR was from the small, individual bottles to dispensers mounted in the showers. I know that was a trial at POR, and I haven't been paying attention to whether the trial is still ongoing, if they've expanded it, or if they've reverted back to the individual bottles. If you don't care whether the shampoo is in a dispenser or individual bottles, then there's no worry about having to pack your own.

We stayed at POR 8/12 thru 8/15 this year in the magnolia section, royal room river view. We all LOVED it! POR had towels at all the pools we visited so no issues there, you can grab on the way in and drop off on the way out too. Very easy. And YES, they had H2O plus shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion in our rooms. LOVE IT!! I ended up buying some of my own for home use. Our room had a mini fridge, hair dryer, plenty of towels since we were a family of four (sometimes they never have enough), mini pod coffee maker with all the coffee accessories, iron/ironing board and a safe. Pretty basic but we loved it!!
