pool temperature

The pools are heated, right? I am originally from Florida and like the pool water to be warm. Anything around 70 degrees is still considered very cold by me.

The mickey pool is usually around 82 degrees. The other pools I am unsure of. I do know that they drain the pools every night and refill them so I am not sure if ocean temp affects the pool temp.

When we were on board, the Goofy pool ran about 77, the Mickey and Quiet Cove ran about 81-82.

They list this on the tv on a continuous basis, along with other info from the bridge.

Those temps were what the pools were when I was on my latest cruise, Feb 8.

Since the pools are drained every night, they must be filled with salt water. Is that correct?

no disney filters out all of the salt.

i think the water in the pool is pretty cool, many times i could barely put my feet in, usually when you are at the islands they get pretty warm, but the first few days are cool, when we went in oct last year i could barely get in the adult pool,

The kiddie pool is always heated.
(don't forget the "p" in the ool)

The temp in the Mickey Pool during our Feb 1 cruise seemed to always be 79.9 degrees.

You'll see the temp of the pools as well as the ships speed, course and the sea conditions on TV.

I don't think they drain them completely every night, actually, we saw them many nights around midnight and they were half empty with a net on top.

I am aboard the Magic now and the temps are 79 degrees and 81 degrees. Considering the number of people using the pools, it seems to be adequate for comfortable swimming.

the pool temps are usually around 80 degrees. However test before jumping in!! We went in december and it was a little cool on our first cruise day and disney forgot to turn the temp. down and it was almost 90 degrees. Way too hot for the kids. My daughter jumped in and started screaming!!! I jumped in and couldn't beleive how hot it was even for me!! I'm suprised no one actually got scalded.
