Is there anywhere that I can view all of the resort hotels pool slides at one time? I am trying to convince the kids that the other pool slides are as cool as the dragon slide at POFQ which is now closed. Are the slides at the other hotels steep, or gradual, faster or slower than the POFQ. My kids are 7 and 9. Anyone who can accurately describe the other resorts slides or show pictures of them will be greatly appreciated. My trrip to Disney may depend on this important information. Help!

Babus1, I don't know of one "pool slide" place for photos, but I would point you at the Walt Disney World website for starters. They have a lot of pool photos mixed in with their resort photos. You'll just have to go resort by resort and look at their photos. Walt Disney World website -- resorts

My family has used the pool slides at the BoardWalk, the Yacht Club, the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, the Coronado Springs Resort, the Caribbean Beach Resort, the Contemporary, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Each pool has something different to offer. My favorite pool is the BW, followed closely by the AKL. My favorite pool slide is the BW's.

at there age I think they would love the CRS slide even more than the dragon - the dragon is very slow.

Of the resorts we've stayed at with DS 5, he liked the POFQ slide best (he loves the "dragon"), but still loved the POR (pretty fast, with the whole island to explore), AKL, and CSR (the fastest, with a cool pyramid nearby) slides. He didn't care for the one at CBR. ("too slow") and didn't get a chance to use the slides at the Poly or WL (he really loved the pool here, especially the current from the creek that empties into it, but we swam too late to use the slide).

I think your kids might not admit that any other slide is as "cool" as the dragon, it sounds like they (as does my 5YO) have a special place in their hearts for it, but I'll bet they will still giggle while they use any of the others, and keep going back for more!

If waterslides are a big deal to your kids, why not spend a day in one of the water parks?

It's really a sea serpent, not a dragon. And it is fun for littler kids.

Babus, go to www.webshots.com and type in WDW pool. You get an idea of a couple of them. Also, check out Ahnalira's site . You have to move back and forth between the resort reviews and the comprehensive resort information, but the pictures are awesome of each resort. (Super for your computer wallpaper!) Have a great time!
