Pool rehab

Hello everyone, i have read several posts about the Por main pool rehab sometime in January, does anybody know what they are planning to do, make it bigger, redo the slide, etc. Thanks for the help......Bye........

We just returned from POR two weeks ago. I was told that they will fix the bridge (it has lattice under it, so you can not swim under or walk on it), redo the slide and add fountains. Hope this helps.

Any idea how long the rehab is to last? We go in March and I will have upset kids if they can't swim. I also don't want to pay peak prices for a resort we can't fully use.

From what I was told (this was the same info from several CM's) the pool will close beginning in Januaury for about 30 days. If you call down to the "pool bar" the CM's there seem to have the most reliable information. I have found that the front desk/guest services really didnt have the information.

Keep in mind that you can use the pool at POFQ - 5 to 10 minute walk depending on where you are at in POR. It has a small slide and is nice but not the same as POR. I have heard that it will definitely be done by March. But, that is just rumor - not official Disney.
