Pool Rehab at Port Orleans Riverside?

Oh, dear. I just saw this mentioned in a couple of posts.

Does anyone know exactly what the dates of the rehab are? We're staying at Riverside this November, and I'm afraid we'll be disappointed if we can't use the main pool.

we just came back from the french quarters and twice we took the boat over to riverside to use their pool.
If you have ever used the pool at riverside you would know that there is a bridge over the pool and you can swim under it. Well you can't now. There is a lattice on both sides. You have to walk around.
We asked the lifeguard what happened and she said that pieces of the bridge was falling. They did not want to close the pool during the busy season. Renovations for the pool will be in January.
I hope this is correct information.

Yes, the rehab will take place in January, so you'll be all set. Its a bit of an eyesore to see the latticework under the bridge, but you are still able to have a great time in the pool nonetheless. The slide is a blast! Have a ball!!

So the slide will be operating in November?

What a relief to hear that! Without a slide, we might as well be at the All Stars.
