Pool Refurb at VWL in October

My sister is at Disney World right now and found out that the Hidden Springs Pool at the Villas will close in October for refurbishment with construction at the Villas and when I checked the Disney websites the pool refurb is open ended with a reopen date of TBD. I borrowed points so that my parents could stay at the Villas the month of February but if the pool is closed and there is construction they may want to stay somewhere else. Does anyone have any insight? Is this for the rumored bungalow on the lake at the Villas?

Yes, it appears that construction on the bungalows and quiet pool area of WL/VWL will be starting in October and going through the entire year of 2016 and into 2017. The main pool will be open the entire time. If they are planning a trip for the entire month of February, I would look elsewhere.

Thanks. I just went over to the VWL thread and they confirmed too They will be expanding the pool and discontinuing messages at Sturdy Branches due to the noise from October to early February so it doesn't sound good. I think we may switch to another resort.
