Pool Not Hopping

I can understand that but if we are too early for our dinner reservations to a resort and do not feel like going back to our resort or a park then the pool bar is the perfect place to wait

Really? ? So you prefer to go dining after sitting at a hot pool bar instead of a cool hotel lobby?
Don't you feel very uncomfortable when you are sitting in your sweaty clothes in a restaurant?

We do the same thing sometimes. When we are on vacation, we like to be outside in the fresh air. The pool bars are usually shaded and we're drinking a cold drink...it's pleasant and we don't get all sweaty just sitting. It's really no worse then walking through a park if we were to dine in a park restaurant.

We went late Oct, it wasnt hot at 4pm and not when you are sitting in the shade. Nicer scenery then sitting at the empty Tambu Lounge. Do not visit WDW in the very hot time of the year like the summer.

Sitting wont get you sweaty but how do you get at the pool bar whiteout walking in the hot sun?
:scared1: We would feel more than dirty and would be worried other guests could smell us. ;)

We were there this week and it was very very hot.

Yes I bet it was, I live 3 hours away and we are roasting down here! We went last year around this time and it was so hot all we wanted to do was stay in anything that had ac! We did sit by the pool at the POFQ (where we stayed) at night to watch the Dancing with the Stars finale with the other guests and we were so warm but it was fun and we were not going to dinner afterwards.

Typically the weather is gorgeous when we visit WDW so we do not get all hot and sweaty just walking from the monorail or bus stop through the hotel lobby and to the pool bar.

One man's hot weather is another one's mild and when you have lived in FL as long as we have 60 is considered freezing and 85 is very nice lol!

It's not like we run to the restaurant from the pool - we walk in and don't break into a heavy, offesive smelling sweat. How can you get just about anywhere in Disney without walking in the hot sun? Unless someone is eating in their resort and their room is in the same building as the restaurant, they are going to have to step outside at some point to get there.

We do and it is like heaven.:lmao:
One evening Citrico's one at Narsoossees and one at Victoria and Albert's :thumbsup2
Lets be honest. Isn't this a dessert to die for?

Peruvian chocolate with a topping of real gold. :thumbsup2

We love the weather in Florida and the earth warming can't go fast enough for us. We would like palms in North Europe. :rotfl:

AKL Jambo shouldn't be a problem but Kidani has a gated pool and you have to scan your room key.

I didn't notice that last November, never once had to use our room key to get to the pool, there was just a regular gate that was left open most of the time anyway.
