Is there somewhere that lists the pool hours? I don't see it on the Disney site. Or does someone know how late they would be open at the end of May?

There is no list of all the Pool Hours available.

The Pool Hours vary by Season and can vary a little from Resort to Resort and even from Pool to Pool within a Resort.

"Most" Pools will "most likely" be on a 9:00 AM-11:00 PM schedule at the end of May.:)

Well...they seem to fluctuate between 7 and 11 pm closing all year now.

That is a measurable change and frankly stinks...the world was better with "swim at your own risk" options...especially at those hotel and ticket prices.

Agree 100000%. We were at SSR for 17 nights at the end of August last year. I specifically picked the Paddock pool are so we could have a nice evening swim. The dang pool closed at 10PM. In August. In Florida. It was till 90 degrees plus.

Amen, my Canuck Brother...

Thanks! That stinks that they can close that early, it would be nice to have an evening swim after a day at the parks.

But, I can tell you of an "experience" we had at All Stars before the earlier closing of the pools. It was finally 2:00 AM when I walked, in my nightclothes down to the front desk and demanded that security go out to the "quiet" pool and shut down the party that was going on. I was laughed at when I walked back to my room by the party people. 2:00 AM and in night clothes. That's how bad it was. And before anyone goes into "well, it was a value resort", I've had other not so bad incidents at moderates and deluxes.

There's downsides to every situation....

I don't think it's a "value" thing...I think it's a "largest tourist place on earth with children" phenomenon...and it costs a fortune...which makes people over due it due to stress and unrealistic expectations.

So the solution for Disney is to have to post pool hours and enforce them.

The thing about quiet pools, they aren't necessarily quiet. They are unthemed, that's all.

Except for the Values where the "secondary" Pools have AWESOME theming such as the Piano Pool,Bowling Pin Pool,Cozy Cone Pool, etc.:)

Ok. The "quiet pools" don't have slides. And Disney has taken to calling them "leisure pools" to clarify that they may not be quiet. And people are not expected to swim in silence. But carrying on after posted hours shouldn't be allowed either.

Another difference between the "secondary Pools" at the Values and the Leisure Pools at the Mods/Luxes besides theming is size-the "secondary Pools" at the Values are MUCH larger than the Leisure Pools at the Mods/Luxes and also they are lifeguarded.:)

I thought at the mods, or at least at POR, only the main pool closed, and the quiet pools were open 24/7. Has that changed?

Yes that has changed. All pools are now (or are soon to be) fenced with posted operating hours. At the BCV the Dunes Cove "quiet" pool hours are now 7 AM to 11 PM, not 24 hours. I think all pools are similar

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are the hot tubs adjacent to the quiet pools at deluxes subject to the pool hours? I understand to an extent why they might be, but it also makes sense that it would most likely be adults wanting to use the hot tubs after hours and you would think adults in hot tubs shouldn't really pose a drowning risk... I'm asking specifically about SSR if that matters.

They are usually within the gated area. So no late night hot tubbing.
