Pool hours at AOA

We will arrive tonight around 1030pm... any chance of being able to get in 20 minutes of pool time in any of the 3 pools?! Couldnt find hours listed online!! Thanks!

Yes. Open till 11pm and after that the gate will lock (meaning no-one can come in from the outside). As long as you don't leave after 11pm, you can hang out for a little while past 11pm.

Just our experience,but since they fenced and gated the Pools several years ago,the Lifeguards have always cleared the Pools when we were swimming at closing time IMMEDIATELY.

Yes,and at parts of the year ,Cozy Cone and Mermaid Pools will close an hour before The Big Blue.

I agree at the main pool but we hung out for 15-20 mins at the quiet pool with not being asked to leave after 11pm.

Just called and was told that the official time was 11pm for the Big Blue Pool, however if the attendance warrants it, they reserve the right to stay open later. The opposite also occurs in the cooler months they can close at 9pm). We stayed at AoA last year and were in the Mermaid pool after 11pm and were never asked to leave.

We had the same experience at PoP - never asked to leave the pool after 11pm. Maybe the rules have changed since they put gates up at all the quite pools? Just saying what happened to me.

You've just run across CMs that are very accommodating. Once pool closes, feature or leisure, they are supposed to clear them.

I agree - it just seems that the time after 11pm drags somewhat...if you want it too. We don't push it but it usually takes 15-20 mins to "clear" the pool. So - I agree but its flexible.

Before the Pools were fenced and gated,they were open 24/7.

They used to be open all the time, but lifeguards would not be present. It was,a *swim at your own risk". It changed when tragically a child (I believe 9 years old) drowned st a value resort pool.

We were at AOA Little Mermaid from May 25-31 this year and they closed at 10:00 PM sharp every night. They blew whistle at quarter till and told everyone the Big Blue Pool was still open and that LM one was closing. Our room was pool view and pool area always cleared quickly by the time we walked up to room. I wish pools would stay open at least till past park closing for those returning from long day and wanting a dip in the pool to relax. The Big Blue Pool is amazing but really crowded most times.
