As I run and duck for cover, I ask this question. As a WDW vet, I know this is not permitted at WDW. But, having never been to Disneyland (and planning a trip) I was just wondering if the rules are different out west. Thanks.

Although it is not really advertised, I believe that if you are staying at the Grand Californian, you can pool hop (I've seen guests walking to the DL hotel pool several times over the years. If you are staying at the DL Hotel, you can use the Paradise Pier Hotel (although, who would really want to walk over there & go up to the pool). And if you are staying at the Paradise Pier hotel, you cannot pool hop.

In other words, the guests who pay more $ to stay at Disney are also paying for more privileges.

Of course, Disney can change this policy at any time. :)

we stayed at the PPH last March, and we pool hopped to the neverland pool at DLH. IOn fact, we did it twice! You have to use your room key to get in, but it is/was definatly allowed!

it was not. We looked at it, but decided to go to the neverland pool, due to the themeing....my 10 year old son LOVED it! :cool1:
