Pool hopping?

Can I add another twist to this thread?

When we go in November, we are staying on rented points at BLT. My brother is staying on rented points at Kidani. We know we can't pool hop as non-owners, but can we use the Kidani pool as his guests? And vice versa--could he come use the BLT pool as our guest?

As Dean intimated, the only way to guarantee success is to list guest names on both reservations.

For instance, if you are staying in a BLT villa with a max occupancy of 4...but there are only 2 in your party...you could add two people from brother's family to your reservation. That technically makes those 2 additional people "guests" at BLT, granting them access to the pool.

Of course, you'll have to be careful in how MagicBands are managed in this day and age since Disney's reservation system has problems when the same individual is logged as being in two resorts simultaneously. If any individual's My Disney Experience account is linked to active reservations at BOTH BLT and AVK, you will run into problems.

There's also the DDP to consider if you are going that route. The Dining Plans must be purchased for ALL room occupants...even those who are added just for pool access.

Beyond that, friends / relatives / associates of a registered guest who are not staying at a Disney hotel are not entitled to use the pool facilities.

We'll what you could do is when someone else is opening the pool gate door you run over grab the gate and go in and they will think your a guest at that disney hotel!

Won't get you far if Disney CMs are scanning MagicBands to police pool usage. It does happen.
