Does Disney allow pool hopping? Friends are staying on property and just asked if they allow pool hopping at other resorts. I know DVC does on a limited basis but not sure about non DVC resorts. THX

No hopping allowed unless it is at a sister resort (such as the All Stars). Where are they staying?

You're welcome. If they were hoping to swim at AoA, let them know that that pool is gated, and you cannot get in without an AoA RFID key. A lot of people think POP and AoA are sister resorts, but they are not.

I agree....although I'm trying US/IOA for the first time and, evidently, they encourage pool hopping. Being that it'll be August and the parks aren't as big as WDW, I'm looking forward to checking out all the pools!

They do and they are awesome.But we mostly stayed at our own at Portofino Bay since DD loved the lighthouse slide

Nope you get to use the pool you pay for. Dvc has some hopping allowed but even they have restrictions.

See....we're staying at Royal Pacific, so now I'll have to check out the lighthouse slide!
