Pool Hopping while staying at Pop

We are still on the waitlist for November. We have a cash ressie at Pop as a backup. Can we visit our home resort, SSR and use the pool or do you have to be staying at a DVC resort to take advantage of the pool/activities?

As a DVC member staying on points, your room ID should say DVC member. You'll need to show that at the pool you hop to. And no hopping to SAB or the other YC/BC pools or the AKL pool. Nor Swan/Dolphin pools.

If the pools are busy, lifeguards & CMs will often "card" the guests in the pool area.

Actually you should bring your blue membership card as well as your room key.

Pool hopping is a perk for members only while staying at the resort. It is not a perk for non-members, such as renters, who obviously do not have a membership card.

Pool hopping is also discontinued at busy times. (Christmas, Easter Thanksgiving etc)

I have never really seen the appeal, I don't want to haul all that stuff someplace else but.... (The only pool I might have ever considered was SAB but it's off the list and they check ID!)

If you are staying at a non DVC Resort on points you cannot pool hop. Pool hopping is for DVC Members who are registered guests at DVC Resorts and staying on points. You must have your KTTW card and your blue Membership ID. You should contact the resort before going, or stop at the front desk when you arrive to confirm that pool hopping will be allowed that day. Also as stated, AKL and Stormalong Bay pools are not included in pool hopping.
