Hi everyone!!! I've been a member for several years, but have never pool hopped. Our next trip is in October and we want to pool hop. Which resorts have the best pools (we'll be traveling with children ages 2, 3 and 7)? Can we pool hop at all Disney resorts, or just DVC resorts?

Thanks so much for your help!!!

At a slow time like October you can pool hop anywhere but Beach Club or Animal Kingdom. We love the pool at the Polynesian best. We go there to rent boats, drink tropical drinks, and swim. Sometimes we even have lunch by the pool. There is a great slide themed like a volcano and a lovely view of the lake/castle.

Coronado Springs also has a great pool. We stayed there last summer and the pool is huge with a gentle, fun slide perfect for families.

Have fun!

We have Hopped just about every pool at Disney, inc SAB before it was taboo. Our kids are 6,8,12, they enjoy the Poly pool, but as an adult I wish they had a hot tub. Great location. The Coranado is nice. Same story as Poly, great pool kids love the "cheetah slide", good place for parents as they have poolside bar service and a hot tub. The down side is it's a little bit of a hike from the bus stop. Wilderness lodge is also awesome especially for an evening swim/soak.

Those are probably our top three. BW is good, but you should always call ahead to check availibility and we have have found that BW is often closed to hopping even when the numbers don't seem to justify it. We also enjoy going to PO, both FQ and Riverside Good pools, nice theming, slides, poolside bar service and excellent food courts close by. I believe PO FQ is closing for awhile though.

WL. We like it there (it's another of our homes).

Our last trip we hopped with 3 kids (aged 2,6,and 7) from VWL (which the kids love) to BWV Luna Park pool (also a huge hit). We don't hop to OKW for obvious lack of a slide (as my eldest says, the "lame" pools). We are bummed we can no longer SAB, so on our next trip, we're staying 2 nights @ BCV just for SAB, then buying our groceries and movin' into BWV! Poly is a great one.

But while this forum is going -- can anyone tell me about GF pools? We've not pool-hopped there, and our kids will be doing an adventures class there next visit. We thought it would be fun to make a day of it -- dh and I will have a nice lunch to ourselves :):) while kids are on adventure, then family could pool-hop in afternoon before heading back to BWV. Should we do that or not?
