Pool Hopping Question

Hi,
We are new DVC members and we will be staying at WDW (in a DVC) this August for a week. We are also spending a second week at WDW but this time we will not be using DVC points. During the second week we will be having dinner at WL and I am just wondering if we are allowed to use the pool while we are there even though we are staying at a different resort?

I read that we can use any DVC pool (except for the main pool at the beach/yacht club) is that true?

You are allowed to pool hop when staying on a points reservation. So the first week you can but not the second. The only pools you can not hop to are YC/BC, AKL, and BLT.

Nope, you can't pool hop during the second week of your stay since you are not staying on a DVC reservation through MS. You can't use any of the pools at YC/BC/BCV, none of the pools at AKL/AKV and you can't use the BTL pool. There hasn't been anything said yet about the CR pool (except for BLT pool).

There are also periods of time around holidays and other busy times when pool hopping is not permitted. Check your Disney Files magazine or the member website for details on pool hopping
