Pool Hopping During Easter/Spring Break / GFV pool refurbishment

What are the normal pool hoping rules regarding Monorail resorts during Easter?
Are they blacked out ?
I am concerned about the pool being closed during Easter /spring break.

And am looking for options if the other pools is too crazy

Poly and BLT pools never allow DVC hopping, to that leaves only the Contemporary main pool to hop to from VGF.

I didn’t see Easter in the 2017 blackout dates.

I would think a 6mo refurb is very rare, unless this is a total rebuild.

I think the period around Easter usually is usually blackout as the resort are expected to be full. The current information on Alternative Pool Use (AKA Pool Hopping) only shows these dates:

Blockout Dates

Resort hotel pools may become unavailable from time to time due to capacity limitations. Due to the high occupancy that is expected, you and your overnight guests may not pool hop during the following dates:

• May 26, 2017 through May 29, 2017

• July 2, 2017 through July 8, 2017

• September 1, 2017 through September 4, 2017

• November 20, 2017 through November 25, 2017

• December 22, 2017 through January 2, 2018

As a reminder, please be mindful of the limited number of pool chairs available, and refrain from leaving towels or personal items on unoccupied pool chairs.

I expect the rest of 2018 wil be added shortly.

that it would take that long
I hope they have built in a lot of extra time as a precaution
Especially sine it is running into a busy time

The pool at GF never seems all that crowded. Whereas the Volcano pool always seems crowded.
