Pool Hopping and Mugs

I guess maybe everyone knows this, but the mugs seem to be uniform right now throughout the resort, the Blue-lidded WDW Where Dreams Come True mugs. I like this shape, skinny and it fits in a car cup holder.
Anyway, we were on our way to the airport after 3 nights each at Vero and OKW and stopped at Port Orleans Riverside for old times sake and pool hopping! We noticed that they had the same mug, nothing specific to the resort at this time. I just found that interesting. Is it a cost savings to not have resort specific mugs? Do some of the resorts have different mugs right now?

We saw the same mugs at AKV that we purchased from OKW. I had mine in my bag and filled it up....I hope that was okay

That sucks. We're on the DxDDP for our next trip, and were looking forward to OKW mugs since we've never stayed there. How generic. :/

The mugs like other items have gone generic to increase profits. You will notice that items now read "Disney Parks" or "Disney Resorts". We got stuck in the rain last week at EPCOT and the Disney rain ponchos have the logos for all of the Disney Parks worldwide.

I loved the tan poncho with Safari Mickey on at at AK a few years ago. A nice difference from the yellow ponchos. I'm not sure we even have any yellow or tan ponchos left, but we have lots of clear ones.
