Pool hoping @ HH

Hi,

Please don't flame me and I'm not trying to start a riot but

If I am staying in the area (with friends @ their condo), can I pool hop from my resort and spend the day by the pool at HH if I am a DVC member? I thought I could enjoy some Disney Magic while not actually staying there?

While it can't hurt to ask, use of the facilities is for guests staying at the resort (just as pool hopping at WDW is only for those staying at a DVC resort using points). Access to the Beach House is only by resort ID at HH. The beach is public and may be enjoyed by all.

a studio in December (first two weeks) or January - are 6 points - so I would try that first.... 1-bedroom is 11 points, a two bedroom is 14 points. the weather can be too cold - but the pools are heated - it is just the walk back to the rooms that can be a problem.

The resort will often allow members to "take a look" at the resort. Just pull up to the gate and explain that you'd like to visit the resort thru the speaker. I'm sure they'll open the gate and allow a visit.

They may even let you look in a room if there are any vacant. There is no sales office or staff at the resort any more, so the CM's at the front desk are the ones to atlk with about a visit.

Many times I stay with my parents in their timeshare trades to the island rather than at DVC HH. Also even though we own points there, we sometimes use our other nondisney timeshares. I always call the office first and tell them that I am a DVC member and I want to go to the shop. I do not use the pool or beach house, but I always enjoy stopping by to see if they have anything new for DVC members. I usually find something I want. It is nice to just walk around and enjoy the view and always gives me a quick Disney fix.
