Pool hop recommendation please

We'll be at the BWV in late September. I'd like to spend an afternoon at another pool. (We've only been to BWV, OKW and BCV pools in the past). I'll have dd's (almost 6 and 8 yrs. old). One likes water slides, the other one only likes them if they're really small.

Can someone recommend or describe other resort pools so I can choose one?

Coronado Springs has the Dig Site. Really cool.

WL pool is also neat.

Polynesian pool and new GF pool are both kind of small and get rather crowded. GF quiet pool is very large, but no slides.

CR has the biggest pool and a nice view of Bay Lake but does not have terribly exciting theming.....

Are DVC members allowed to pool-hop to any pool on Disney property (except SAB and AK)? I thought it was just the DVC resorts you could pool-hop to? Thanks again!

Yes, hop to any pool, if they are not full, except SAB and AKL pools as you stated.

I would definitely go to WL. My 7 and 6 (now 8 and 7) LOVED it. You can try either their main pool (which has a nice "moderate" slide -- not too big, but not too small... juuuussssst right!) or the quiet pool (my kids liked the little "geysers" in the quiet pool). And you can watch "ol faithful" detonate on the hour... It's just so cool watching the water come from in the lobby, down the rocks, and out to the pool! THere's also critters around to watch sometimes -- ducks, rabbits, we even saw otters out by the dock!

TIme it right and your kids can perhaps do some of the activities there (ducky race).

One warning, though -- it's addictive -- so be prepared to break all your plans and stay at VWL next trip!!

DVC'ers can pool hop like they are saying but only if staying on points (I believe)

Also, pool hopping is suspended at certain times of the year, mostly for days before and after holidays. You must be staying at a DVC resort on points to pool hop.
