Headed to Windsor Hills next week, and I’m on the fence about adding pool heat since there will still be lows in the 60s. Anyone staying off site now that has a pool who could offer some advice?

Thanks!

where are you from?

if up north - no you won't need it - the water stays warm after the sun has gone down for several hours.

We are from TN..the warm ugly side as I refer to it. We have on jackets if it goes below 70 outside. Yes, we’re wimps :)

Florida weather is different - I lived in birmingham, al before moving to Fl - now even being out when it is 60 doesn't even make me cold wear shorts and t-shirts mostly- that say the days in Fl are definitely hotter. when are you planning on swimming - if midnight or later then you might need to get the pool heat - but before then I won't do it. Now if you are planning on swimming in the early morning - then would definitely heat the pool. It seems to be at the coldest early morning from 5:00am until about an hour after the sun comes up. Now if cloudy in the morning make that 2 hours.

We left our place in Florida two weeks ago and the pool was sitting at 72F. We hadn't used the pool heat in a while so I think that is a realistic temperature. The air temperature is warming up so I suspect the pool temp will continue to slowly climb.

I don't know about you but 72F water is a bit chilly for me. But everyone is different.
