Pool Heat question

We are considering a pool home, but I'm wondering about something. If you go in the summer and don't have pool heat, is the jacuzzi hot? I know this is probably a silly question, but in the pictures the jacuzzis are connected to the pool and overflow into it, so I don't exactly see how this works without heat?

I know on some that are attached to the pool you can pay for heat as they have a seperate gas heater - best check with the owner

We went end of August last year and had hot tub heat which was very nice and on advice of owner did not pay for seperate pool heat. The hot tub does overflow in most places but does not noticeably effect the overall heat of the pool. We did not need pool heat that time of year and I and hypersensitive to cold.

We went beginning of August last year and definitely needed the hot tub heated but not the pool
