Hi guys,

We have booked a villa with a pool for the first time in late June /July.

Will we need pool heat ?

Thanks

Paul

Normally that time of year you wouldn't need it as long as the pool is covered up when not in use as it helps keep heat in (can make a difference of up to 5 degrees!). The water may feel a little cool compared to the outdoor temperature but even with heating it will feel like that! that said, if you don't do cold at all and are a heat hog like DW, you'll want the heating no matter what time of year you go....

they didn't have it in the quiet pools in POR in June/July and tbh it was bliss after a long hot day in the parks! They didn't have it in November either one year and that wasn't so much fun:)

No.
We are in Florida for a couple of months. Currently, the daytime highs are about 90F and our unheated, uncovered pool at 8:30am is 84F.
