We arrive Tuesday wooohooo! We are in a Pool Gardens Studio. My understanding is this is floors 1-3? Should I request ground floor for ease of access in and out of room? Or floor 3, to have a little view from above? What’s your experience and preference? Bonus for photos if you have them! Thanks!

Floor 3 is convenient to the lobby. You won't get a really good view of the pool though because of all the trees.

If you're driving and self-parking, the most convenient Studios are going to be 310 and 304, in that order.

If you're valet parking, the most convenient will be 354, 356, 310, 372, 304, 378, and 384, in that order.

Similar to Animal Kingdom Lodge, "ground floor" is 3 from the front of the building and 1 from the back of the building. So if you want to walk right in from your car to your room, you want to be on 3. If you want to walk right in from the pool but need an elevator to get to the car, you want to be on 1. 5 will have the best views.

My family's favorite is floor one, but we must not be the only ones because our last two stays they had none of those rooms available. We were able to get floor three once which was convenient to the lobby. Then we were on floor four once which wasn't convenient for anything! :P

There are very few Poolside Garden View rooms on the first floor.
  • Five Studios
  • Five 1-bedroom villas
  • Four 2-bedroom villas

We ended up in Ewa tower room 556. We love it! View is lovely, and it’s so easy to take elevator right down and be where all the action is at! Short walk to lobby, shops, dining etc.

And that includes both towers?
Yes. The Ewa Tower has 3 / 3 / 2. Waianae Tower has 2 / 2 / 2.

The following rooms don't exist on the first floor... they would theoretically be 1st floor Poolside Garden View, and there are rooms above them, but there are other things in those spaces on the ground floor.

150 - 2BR
152 - 1BR
154 - DS
156 - DS
158 - 1BR
186 - 2BR

The first five are taken up by the Luana Lounge and Pau Hana Room, and the last one is Aunty's Beach House.
