My dd3 has an inflatable inner tube type of pool float with a seat in the bottom (not any bigger than a small donut type float). Can she use this in the poly's pool?

I have never stayed at the Poly but last month at the WL my youngest (3 1/2) wore her little floaty in the pool with no problem. It was one of those tubes built into the little shirt . We never had to worry about it falling off etc... She loves the kiddie pool but sometimes she likes to do her own thing in the big pool with us :D I'm sure you won't have a problem at the Poly. Have fun!

From what I understand there is no hard-n-fast rule about inflatables in the pools. It seems to be at the discretion of the guards on-duty. A "general" rule of thumb seems to be, if the object blocks enough of the view of the pool bottom so the guards can't feel safe watching the pool, or the pool is very busy, then they may ask you not to use it.

However, I can't see your child's small float causing a problem in these departments.

You can also borrow a child's size PFD (life vest) from the Poly marina for free. Our youngest was almost three when we stayed at the Poly and that's what he used in the pool. It's got a crotch strap so the vest will stay on securely. He even went down the slide in it.

Oh, good. I'm thinking about bringing a noodle to CBR next week. In fact I think I'll cut it in half so I can put my head on one piece and my feet on another. I've got to think that would be small enough not to bother them.
