Pool closure VGF MLK weekend

Not sure if this has been posted yet but it was news to us. We are staying VGF MLK weekend and received a letter the pool will be closed the 16-19. I posted this also in the resorts board. Was this a known refurb?

I think that is the Courtyard pool and not the beachside pool.

Yes it sure is...do you know if this was a known refurb? Is it common for them to let us know a few weeks out?

They just did a big refurbishment of the Courtyard pool maybe last summer, so it might must be a maintenance thing that had to be scheduled. Plus it's only a short outage.
