Thinking about renting a cabana for the day at the GCV this March. Just looking for any thoughts or insights, photos etc...

The price is actually fairly reasonable at $209 for a full day, 9:30 am-6 pm.

We rented a cabana on our departure day from GCH to San Diego. We used it all day, then left to San Diego. The cabana was awesome, great service, great set up. The fruit plate was so fresh and delicious. My kids still talk about the strawberries! We had the cabana on the end, closest to the main pool but still could not see too well to the main pool. We could see the adult pool as I recall, but with kids, it is somewhat limited. Liked having the shade and our own space, but the pool was not super crowded (mid May) so there were ample chairs. My husband needed to work remotely some that day, so he was able to do that in the shade with power to charge laptop and stay engaged with the kids at the pool. My parents were also with us, so it gave them a shady spot to relax also. Our kids were having such a blast in the pools, they didn't use it much! I wouldn't say it was an absolute must-do but we enjoyed it a lot and I agree that the price was not bad (compared to Aulani, where we are headed this May, is downright cheap!!). If you are going at a busy time of year, it would be worth it even more.

Thank you @twodogs Line of sight isn't a must but I still like to be able to see them. We won't be working but still love the idea of shade and those plush chairs. We are going during Spring Break so I am still in shock there was one open on the day I am wanting. The fruit sounds wonderful. I am loving the idea of a full pool day on the day we check out.

I booked it. The cancellation is totally reasonable.
