Hi all, I read a few reviews on Trip Advisor where people were saying the pool at HNY is extremely deep and even short adults can have trouble standing in it. Has anyone found this to be true? I am 5ft 4 inches and normally stand around while my 5 year old daughter swims/floats around me. Does anyone think I'll have any trouble? We did stay at HNY last year but the pool was closed during our stay so we never got to see it.

The pool in NPB was ok depth wise but like all the pools in DLP it was absolutely freezing!! :crazy2: Maybe this is ok when it's the hot summer months but when the snow is on the ground outside it's awful!!! :cold: They could do with turning up the heat a bit!!

Yes it, is very deep. I am 5'7" and could not stand in it.

I third this!! Im 5'6" and a non swimmer. Even the bottom step at the opposite end to the jacuzzi was a bit oo-er!! There are some floats around the pool and i "casually" clung to one of them when i moved from the edge.

We stayed at HNY 2 weeks ago and I can say that at 5'1" the pool was a definite no-no for me. There is no shallow end either. I stuck to the jacuzzi, others I spoke to said that the pool was freezing and we all brought our children into the lovely warm jacuzzi - though there were only 4 families there at the time. Officially no under 12s are allowed into it but nobody tried to stop us.

That is what we did when our daughter was 3.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all the replies. Guess I will have to wear some arm bands and a swim ring!!! What possessed them to make it soooooo deep??
