Pool at CBR

Pool at CBR - Is it good for a 3 year old? Can he go down the slide with his 11 yr. old sister or my 20 yr. old daughter?

Does it have zero entry?

Is zero entry a good or bad thing for a 3 yr. old?

There is no zero entry at CBR pools. I don't know what the slide policy is there, but I'm sure someone else will.

Does your 3 year old know how to swim? The end of the pool where the slide lands is not shallow. When we stayed there we saw a few parents treading water and waiting for their kids to come down the slide so they could catch them. I am not sure if they allowed little ones to slide down with an older sibling or adult. I don't see why not, but I don't know what the official policy is. It's not a big slide at all, in fact it's rather short, but my sons enjoyed it

I know at WL you can borrow or bring your own swim vest and you are able to go down the slide wearing the swim vest. I would assume that would apply to other resorts as well. DS will need to go down by himself. What you can do is sandwich him between two people... you go down first and wait at the bottom to catch, DS 2nd with assist from DD to get him started. This is how we did out last trip.

Beware. The slide at CBR has a strong waterflow for its size and it ends in deep water. My 5yo had some trouble reaching the pool ladder. We also saw several "life guard assists" for kids having trouble after sliding.

If the marina is open, you should be able to borrow a vest there.

If I remember right, at WL you could borrow a vest at the pool and keep it for your stay. You did not need to find a vest each time you went to the pool. Does this sound familiar and do they let you do this at CBR?

Well our experience is at the GF... but what's been said here applies there too. You can borrow vests (free) for the duration of your stay from the marina. Everyone has to go down the slide alone!
