I walked thru the playground the morning it opened. No kiddies with me tho. It was cute but did not impress me much but then I don't have little ones.

I can see the need for it somewhat to give littles a place to get rid of some extra energy but isn't that what resort pools and playgrounds are for??

I think the 3 yr and 4 yr olds will get the most fun out of it. 2 yr olds maybe a bit young for it and 5 yr olds a bit old.

What if getting back to the resort pool/playground is for some reason not a feasible option?

What if you have to wait with your little one(s) because they couldn't/wouldn't ride things with their older siblings/friends?

What if you and your little one(s) just want a break from the 'standing in line' routine?

I understand what you're saying, but there are very valid reasons for having places like that in the parks. You can't just relegate that to resort pools/playgrounds alone.

There's also another reason for having places like that in the parks. I have a little one (he'll be 3 in December). He loves places like that as much as -- if not more than -- the attractions themselves.

What if a park visitor is not a resort guest?

My kiddo's 5 now and will be 6 before we go again, so she'll unlikely do more than peek in, but I totally appreciate its addition.
