Pooh's Playground? :confused3
I read in someone's trip report about taking their child to Pooh's playground. Could someone tell me where it is and what it is like.
Thanks in advance.

It's just one of those play areas with the foamy ground where kids can climb in little fake trees, etc. in a Pooh-themed environment. It's right across the Fantasyland area from the Pooh ride itself, and is next to where 20K used to be.

Hi, Pooh's Playground is in the back right hand side of Fantasyland. If you are facing Dumbo, look right & back. The playground consists of a huge tree the kiddies can climb around in (inside the tree looks like the inside of Pooh's house ). There is also an area where water shoots up out of the ground (good for cooling off). Lots of climbing areas & some shady for Mom & Dad. Great place to let the under 5 set run off some steam. If you seen the playground in Toon Town, it's similar but better themed. Sbella

It's also bigger than the ToonTown one - or at least it seems that way. However, the enterance is also more 'open' than ToonTown so not as easy to 'guard' those kiddos who think it is funny to run off! :teeth:

We missed it last time and my 4 yr old has not let us forget it!
It is located in Fantasy Land across from the Pooh ride. It is a toddler park, 5 and under I believe. A playground for the little ones to be able to run around. Haven't been there so that's all I can remember from sseing it in October.
There is WtP house (tree) and a Piglet looking out from the top. I do not remember if there is any water play.

Thanks! :sunny:

I guess we missed it on our last trip there in May. My daughter would have loved it! I am not sure how we missed it. Hopefully it will still be there on our next trip in a few years. I don't remember seeing anything about it on the planning video or even in the map, but I could be wrong.

You didn't miss it, I don't think it was there then. At least that's what the CM told us. I think she said it's been open since September.

Thanks cwnhokie and all the others!

I really appreciate you all taking the time to answer my question.

I think it's bigger too. The opening is quite wide, it's took 3 of my girl friends to guard it. My ds loves it though!

I agree - the opening is very wide. I wish they'd fix this. It would be relatively cheap to do so and would give thousands of parents peace of mind. I remember really having to watch the opening like a hawk for my 2 YO DD last fall, who enjoys running off, while my DW and other DD went to ride the Pooh ride.
