My DH and I (Who are both Pooh Sized) have been to WDW several times and just love the fact that we can fit in all the rides. :love:My question is are the rides at Disneyland as Pooh sized friendly as the ones at WDW? I am most concerened about the Matterhorn. Any help? :confused3

Matterhorn should be fine. When they ask how many people you have, tell them "one and one." Then each of you get your own seat.

Most rides you will be fine. My dad is pretty "pooh sized" and the only ride he had a hard time on was Haunted Mansion, because the bar comes down automatically, hard and fast.

The secret to preventing trouble on HM....hold your hands against your stomach where the bar will be coming down.....it's designed to stop AFTER it touches body parts so make your "body" start a little sooner in it's mind.

The only ride I found uncomfortable was Indiana Jones....I was able to sit semi comfortably but my hips/thighs were definitely pressed against the edges of the seat....but then the ride started and whew boy does that ride throws you around A LOT....and those edges dug in and bruised my hip. I didn't really like the ride much when I was a bit less Pooh, lol....but now even less.

What I find hard about the Matterhorn, is the fact that I'm no longer young, (60) So not only am I pooh sized, I'm old:sad1:

Same here. Indiana Jones is almost exactly the same as the Dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom in Florida though. I get bruised hips on that one so I wasn't at all surpirsed that I got bruised on Inidana Jones, too.

I tend to not go on those rides just for that reason.

Thanks for the tip on the HM ride though. We are going in January again and I will remember that trick with the hand.
