Pooh sized lap belt questions

Thank you for posting the question. I didn't have df try any seat belt rides as he feared he wouldn't fit. He barely fit in Haunted Mansion and we learned they have a buggy that doesn't lock.

Good to see the trick to try standing when the lap bar comes down above.

I'm pooh sized and wear a size 24 on the bottom. I don't recall Soarin' being an issue for me, but Test Track, while it fit, was a close one. I would think if she couldn't fit Soarin' that Test Track would probably be out. I'm trying to remember if I had any other issues, because I do carry my weight around my middle/hips but that's the only one I can think of. Like, pooh was snuggly when I was riding with my husband, but he's a big dude, too. I have not tried Mission Space or Rock N Roller coaster, so I can't comment on them.
RnR isn't too bad! Sounds like I'm around the same size as you, and I have no problems. I'm pretty busty, though, so the restraint doesn't go down all the far. But very comfortable! No lap bar or seat belt, just the overhead restraint

Thank you everyone for all your helpful advice. I will be booking the rooms with the bounce back package next month for travel in Dec 2017. I have talked to her about going up and down three stairs a day at her apartment to make it easier to step into the boats and about taking baby steps across the room everyday to make the moving sidewalks easier to get on. I would love to go walking with her a little everyday but I live an hour away.
Also I am a large woman and would be afraid if I went over we would have lunch out everytime. I am a sucker for eating out, especially since I am supposed to be on a diet.

Waiting in the Kali River Rapids queue I saw a woman unable to fasten the safety belt and unfortunately couldn't ride. I'm not good at judging size so I'm not going to estimate hers, but that ride may be a problem for some.

My husband was too big for the belt on Kali River Rapids. It was so embarrassing for him. He had ridden in the past when the clasp was metal without difficulty, but the plastic clasp belt is too small for him. He rides Soarin with no trouble.

There is a thread on the forum called "Everything Pooh-sized." I suggest you go there; it has many, many replies and will honestly answer many questions.

As a Pooh-sized person, but I'm thinking not as large as the op's friend, I love Disney because there is nothing I can't ride. It makes my days so nice to not have to even be concerned. The trick of pulling out a belt all the way is a good one, and I'll say that is probably true for everyone, not just large people. As for Space, a good tip is to step on the seat, then step out. Climbing out can be a struggle, again not just because of size but any mobility (or clutzy) issues.

Good luck to the OP and your friend!
