One member of my group is concerned about fitting into the ride constraints at Hollywood Studios. He is about 6 feet and around 300lbs. Would he be able to ride Rock-n-Roller coaster and Tower of Terror?

I'm 5-10 and significantly heavier than the member of your group in question and can ride both without difficulty. So he should be fine.

Thanks so much! He had an incident at Universal several years ago that was very embarrassing for him, and I definitely don't want to ruin his day at Hollywood Studios with a repeat! Thanks, again.

My husband could not fit on the rip roaring roller coaster at Universal (I think that's what it's called lol) but he can ride anything at DHS with room to spare, no problem.

Lilylogan....that was the one at Universal where the incident occurred for us! Thanks for sharing your experience.

Every ride at Disney is much, much, much more forgiving than the rides at Universal. There was a point when I didn't fit in some of the rides at universal, but I've never come close to having an issue at Disney. He'll be fine, have a great trip!
I am so relieved to hear all of your positive reports! Thanks!

A tip for rides that have actual seat belts - (like ToT) - BEFORE you sit down, pull the lap belt all the way out - hold onto it, then fasten it. Much easier that way, and allows you to ensure you have all the available room in the belt. Several Pooh size members in my family have never had issues at Disney, unlike some Universal rides. There used to be a site that gave Pooh sized folks tips for every ride at Disney? It may be been here on Disboards - try a search and see what you find. Hope everyone has a great time - enjoy!
