Cast of Characters
DH- Grumpy, hates crowds, loves sit down ADR meals- but not buffets
DW - Goofy, loves everything Disney, makes all the plans for WDW
DS - Stitch, loves some rides, goes bonkers over other rides, loves steak
DD - Totally Princess, chicken finger & pasta girl, gets stickers from CM's

Sunday - April 1
Arrived at MCO 10 AM - Sunray was waiting for us, rode in a SUV with a food store stop to the Dolphin. Very good service from Sunray.
Dolphin - we had the small refrigerator cleaned out for a one time fee (with tax $31). We did the $20 Make-A-Wish donation and received a coupon for 2 large soft serve ice creams. Our DD showed her A report card and got an A+ baseball cap and $20 credit at the Dolphin Fountain.
We asked for a cot - boy/girl not sleeping togther. One was in our room and we were not charged for it.

Dolphin Resort has had a nice update to the lobby & hallways. Room 8175 was not ready for us yet, so we went to MK. At at LTT form lunch. Great meal. The sandwhiches are fresh and DD was able to get chicken figers and strawberry yogurt (new found favorite food). Cost $60 , DDE discount , Score = A+

Our AP's worked the first time - no need to go to the ticket booth area.

Dinner was at Gullivers Grill in the Swan. We were able to get 20% off with our AAA card for dinner. Nice Italian buffet. DH was OK with it. DS liked all the chocolate desserts. DD had chicken fingers and pasta with butter. Goofy character was at Gullivers. Cost $80 Score = B

Room 8175 - West wing. Has a balcony :cool1: Great view of the pools, Tower of Terror, Everest in AK, part of the lake. Afternoon sun, but the days were not hot- so the balcony was great to hang out and dry laundry.
West elevator is close to laundry, 24 hour open Picabu's, game room and pool doors.

Boats to MGM & EPCOT ran every 15 minutes. Buses to AK, MK & DTD every 15 to 20 minutes. Taxi's were always availbale for last minute trips.

Part 2 - Monday - April 2

Great day - 75 degrees, no rain, sunny - EPCOT - found our Leave a Legacy tiles - took lots of pictures. Garden Festival flowers are starting to appear.
Le Cellier lunch - wonderful. Our server, Steven, was funny. The steak was so tender. The sorbets are a nice way to end a meal. DS got the chocolate moose. With DDE 20% discount, our lunch was $101 for 4 people (3 adults & 1 child). Score = A+

Dinner at Rose & Crown. Food was OK. Last time our kids loved the place - this time they hated it. DD could not find anything on the menu to eat. She did a cup of soup and some bread. DS ate the fried fish and he said it was too greasy. The chicken was OK and DH had the banger mash and said it was so so. Bottom line - this will be our last meal at Rose & Crown. Cost $80 Score = C-

Part 3 - Tuesday - April 3 will be continued below. Time to get eveyone to bed:cloud9:

Part 3 - Tuesday - April 3
Early risers - 5 AM wake up call, 6:15 AM buss to MK
Best to do at MK - go to early AM entry
We went on so many rides before the 8 AM opening time

CP for 10:30 AM breakfast - nice selection, waiter did not rush us. Coffee refills were served promptly. It's Easter week- lots of people were turned away with no ADR. Glad we made one. Cost $80 with DDE - Rating A

We spent the afternoon at the Grotto pool. Great water slide and water falls to play in. The pool was not crowded - lots of suits and conventions at the Dolphin - so less families at the pool. The weather was perfect - 75 -80 degrees and sunshine :goodvibes

We walked by the Y/BC later in the afternoon and the SAB pool was crowded - looked like no seats and every inch of the pool was used. I am glad we did not stay atthe Y/BC Easter week.

We went to EPCOT in the evening. Nice walk from the Dolphin. Snacked in the World for dinner. Not a bad way to get everyone's desires in. DH was happy with Germany counter service - so everyone was happy.

Part 4 - Wednesday - April 4
Slept late - till 8 AM

We had some cereal in the room and then took a taxi to DTD West side
The bus to DTD did not come after 15 minutes from the Dolphin bus stop - and we did not want to wait. Taxi cost $15.

We went to Disney Quest. Per rumors, DQ will close at the end of 2007 and ESPN will take it's place in DTD. We did not want to miss a last chance to ride the rapids or shoot at pirates. We also made our own CD music mix. Very cool sovenier and memory of DQ.

After DQ - we bussed directly from DTD to MGM Studios. We did H&V 3:40 PM Fantasmic pkg. H&V did have a fresh selection of foods. Everyone found something to eat. It was an early dinner/late lunch - but we snacked at DQ before MGM. H&V was $120 for 4 adults - but the food kept our bodies out of snacks till the 8:30 PM Fantasmic show.

Fantasmic show has some new floats since we saw it a year ago.
I would recommend the show. We arrived about 1 hour before the show and got a great seat in the witches section. The regular sections were almost filled already. Thoses people must have arrived 2-3 hours before the show.
Their poor butts - to sit for 3 hours - YICK.:scared:

We shopped a bit after the show and took the boat back to the Dolphin.

Tomorrow - Day 5 is laundry:laundy: day and AK
