Pooh Corner M&G Open?

I was checking out the list of refurbs for the Star Wars Race Weekend. From what I can see, in addition to other closures throughout the parks, basically everything from Haunted Mansion to the back of Critter Country will be closed.

So I am wondering if the usual meet and greet with Winnie the Pooh characters will be open? My girls love meeting characters, and we would consider doing a Minnie and Friends Character Dining if that area is closed, so they could see some of those characters. Anyone have experience with "land" closures like this? Will that whole area just be blocked off? With all those closures, plus the others in the park, I am just cringing how horrible crowds will be with everyone crowded into the other lands. I know complaining about ride closures is pointless, but when basically an entire land is closed over a race and holiday weekend, including a favorite place to eat, it just seems a bit ridiculous. Just hoping we can still see our favorite Winnie the Pooh characters

My understanding is the whole land will be closed. We plan to check in at City Hall to ask if the pooh characters are anywhere else during the refurb.

They did a similar refurb 3-4 years ago and they was a construction wall at the end of HM that you couldn't pass. Winnie the Pooh characters still occasionally show up on Main St. Ask at City Hall to confirm as PP said.

Like pp's said the whole section will be closed off. To be guaranteed some Pooh characters I would reserve a Minnies Brekkie.

Thanks everyone, that is kind of what I was thinking. I did make reservations at Minnie's because we saw several Pooh characters there last time we went.
