We are going to WDW next month with my entire immediate family. My sister (who hasn't been to the world since she was 12) says a friend is telling her there are pony rides for something like $2. Has anyone heard of these?

I am pretty sure Fort Wilderness has pony rides. Not sure of the price though.

Yes, they do have them at FW, but I also don't know the price! :o They also have horseback riding for adults at FW. I think you have to be at least 10 yrs. old to do the horseback riding.

Does anyone know what times the rides are offered? We have PS for HDDR at 5:00 - figuring we'd be done around 6:30ish. Might be something fun to do afterwards???

I think the horseback riding is more towards morning/afternoon.

I think there are 10 a.m. & 1 p.m. rides, but there may be others also. You may want to ask on the Camping Forum.

The pony rides are at the Petting Zoo in Fort Wilderness. The zoo is close to the marina area. The rides are from 10-5 and the cost was 3 dollars in April. You will lead the pony around the zoo so the adult should wear closed-toe shoes (though I've seen them ignore that rule).

Have fun!

Wonderful. Thanks for the info and also the quick reponse. I'll be sure to forward on the info to my sis.
