Points can be used anytime between June 1, 2011 - May 31, 2012.
Can book home resort SSR at 11 months out; any other DVC resort at 7 months.

Looking at Animal Kingdom Resorts for a 1 or 2 bedroom in the middle of October 2011 for 9 consecutive nights. Would be ok to transfer to another resort if you can get someone else involved. Will get the exact dates shortly but we are flexible. Starting on the 18th or 19th would be great!
