Could someone please tell me how much the yellow ponchos cost at dlp cause thinking is it better to get a waterproof jacket instead or will the ponchos be good as a souveniers.

They're not made of very strong plastic.
They are around 8 euros per adult one, 6 euros per child. We used ours for 2 days in June, they are still perfectly fine, and so will go in the case for future visits, until they fall to bits :goodvibes .

Tesco has childrens pac-a-macs for £3.50 just now. They'd be used more than the ponchos, as you could use them here in the UK too.

I went to see Jools Holland at an open air concert last weekend. It poured with rain most of the day,but I was cheered up by seeing somebody with a Disneyland 15 Anniversary bright yellow poncho. :)

To be honest, wearing the bright yellow poncho when it rains is almost part of the Disney experience in my eyes.

Certainly brings a lot of vibrant colour back into the grey french skies when it rains.

I hate the damn things! You'll never catch me wearing one, I'd rather get soaking wet :lmao:

DS and I think the same :thumbsup2

They are 8 euros for sure.

I really like them as they are so much longer that a waterproof jacket.

Perfect for the summer as all my clothing was covered so jsut my legs got wet. And they weren't too hairy so dried pretty quick!

i brought 2 in WDW in 2006 for $10 (i think they are more durable than the DLRP ones) we take them on every trip (been about 8 since then) they are still going strong and i always have them in my disney backpack! :thumbsup2

they are just see through with a big mickey on the back, we always have people in paris ask us where we got them from :goodvibes

i always wondered about these, and of course we didnt need them in june, but might be nice for december when we go!!
wud be nice if they did them in reds n blues too - then there wud be lots of colours when it rains!!
r they available everywhere??

we have a few sets ... unfortunately I tend to buy a new set everytime we go and I have to admit I like them. We bought an adult size one for our dd and it went over her and her pushchair without any problems and it dried much faster than her rain cover !

They are sold in almost every shop in DLRP.

We had these ones too, they were great. I was going to take them with us to DLP when we went in June, but I couldn't find them anywhere  oh must've chucked them out

DD's have this style :thumbsup2

On our trip in May our yellow ponchos were a godsend as on a couple of occasions we had monsoon type showers!! Mine got ripped but I'm gonna get a new one. What I like is that they are massive and you could still wear a big coat underneath if its cold.
