Ponchos

Where do you guys buy your ponchos in Canada... specifically BC

I'm in Ontario and I buy them at Dollarama; do you have them in BC? They are pretty sturdy and at $1 each it is well worth picking up quite a few to have on hand. We usually hand them off to other people getting off Kali so they don't go to waste - we always ask the people we give them to to give them to someone else when they are done with them.

We used to bring ponchos.

Used them once.

They were a lot of trouble.

So now we don't bring ponchos and all it well.

There are enough indoor places at WDW to stay dry and have fun.

At Walmart in the camping section, you can get ponchos that are folded up really tiny. I bought one for my son's summer camp as a last-minute throw in (why not...barely took up any room at all) and he really needed it as it poured for two days straight! I'm going back to get a couple more for our Disney trip. I will check Dollarama as well, but the one at Walmart was only $2.99. I'm sure they have the same ones at Canadian Tire and Zellers but most likely more money.

There are Walmart locations all over B.C.

I have found ponchos at Walmart. Specifically at the New West. location, in the girls' clothing dept. area. It's usually near where they keep little kids' umbrellas. I have found adult sizes there too.

I have also found ponchos at Zellers, near the purses, jewellry, makeup sections. Specifically in Richmond Lansdowne Mall location.

I just buy the 99cents ones, nothing too pricey. That way, if you don't want to carry them around the parks anymore, you can just dispose them or give them away.

Zellers has some that are of thicker quality and are a bit more expensive; but they also carry the cheaper 99cents ones.

Great thanks! I'll check out Zellers... I mean from the lower mainland do we really need ponchos... come on.. we are used to the rain but I am thinking if we hit a torrential it may be nice... then again... maybe it'll just feel really good!

I was at Zellers today and didn't see the ponchos. Maybe they were moved? Your best bet may be Walmart.

Walmart has Disney ones! Yellow Mickey Mouse ones and pink ones with princesses. I have bought these before!

Hi c&m, since you live in Richmond, check out the dollar store at Hazelbridge and Alexandra, where the Fabricana used to be. It's called DollarSmart, and is my favourite dollar store. I have purchased the ponchos there, as well as many other things. I shop there on a regular basis, as they have such great deals. IMHO it's your best place to find them here in Richmond.
