Ponchos...

Can't seem to find child sized rain ponchos. The only ones I've seen are for kids 8 and up. My kids will are 4 and 2 and those will be way too big.

Any suggestions?

My kids were 4yr and 20 mos when we went....we ended up having to buy some ponchos at the parks...the 4yo was fine w/the child size one... a little long, but was ok walking....the 20mos had it on..didn't like it...couldn't really walk in it, but we carried her when she needed it on, and it kept all of her pretty dry.

My DS kindergarten class had a field trip to the zoo on a rainy day last week. Some of the parents made rain ponchos for their children out of clear garbage bags that they cut holes in to make a neck hole and a hood.

I saw some at Target, in the camping supplies, the other day. I didn't actually look to see if they were kid sizes, but they had Blue's Clues and SpongeBob, so I would assume they would be kid sizes.

I found an abundant supply of ponchos at our local dollar store last year. They were even in different (cool) colors. Try there!

when we went last year our local dollar store only had adult sizes but we just trimmed it to fit ds, worked like a charm.

The ones at Target are Kid sized and come in other Hello Kitty they are with the backpacks and camping stuff. I've not picked mine up yet so I'm not sure how they fit. They also have Spongebeb by the children's umbrellas or usually on a end by the underwear. Those actually fold up into a little self contained pouch. Just have to deciede which ones to pick up.

I found mine at the local Dollar store for $1.00 each. Actually, they only had child size.
