When we used the disposable ponchos, we found that with the exception of my husband the hoods were too large so they kept blowing off and we got wet. I would suggest taking a small plastic clothespin, chip clip or hair clip to secure the hood.

Too true! It can be comical! We always have to tie knots in the plastic so that the kids don't step on them. Good tip.

I unfold(only slightly) the disposable ones we're going to use for the kids and snip off the bottom!! Works great - like the idea for the hood!!! Thanks!!!
