Polynesian!

New to the boards but I just booked for the Poly from 3/21-3/27! Never stayed there before so I am excited, especially since I got to pick the resort this time! Any comments or suggestions? Things I should try? Anyone else going during this time? Yay!

I stayed there for the first time in Oct. it was fantastic! We had the monorail right outside our balcony!

Make sure you eat at Kona Cafe, and make sure you watch the fireworks from the beach!

We stayed at the Poly the week after Thanksgiving, it was fantastic!!! we loved it! The volcano pool is fun, my kids loved it, watching wishes and the electric boat parade from the beach and/or pool was fun, the whole resort is so relaxing and beautiful, the food choices are good, we ate at capt cooks for quick meals, and Kona for sit down, both were very good, we never did Ohana's but plan to next trip!
the monorail access is priceless, and the boat to MK is great. so fast.........hardly ever waited more than a couple minutes for a boat. the walk to ttc was not far either, we were in Tokelau and it was central to everything.
I can't wait to go there again!!!!

Thanks so much! I'm in college and finally my spring break is the same as my little brother, so I get to go with him and my parents. Usually my dad picks the resort and we do GF, but I always wanted to stay at the Poly and he finally caved in! One of our ADR's is at Kona...I got to pick those out too

We absolutely love the Poly!! The monorail right outside your door is a fantastic advantage. We love relaxing by the volcano pool....and watching the parade and fireworks is a great way to end your day! The resturants are great there also. If given the chance the 'Ohana character breakfast is a favorite of ours....my older dd's even love it. The atmosphere IMO can't be beat...tropical sights and sounds. Your going to have a wonderful time. Hope you enjoy your stay!

Don't let the kids sleep out on the balcony no matter how much they beg.........they have sand fleas or some other type of insect down there that will cause a nasty rash...........Very nice pool and we loved Kona!
