Polynesian villas

I am so excited to stay at a studio at Polynesian. We got a letter about maintenance that will be going on during our stay.

Anyone who has stayed recently, is it a real nuisance or it is worth it to keep my reservations with Poly? I do not plan on sleeping in and they say the work will not start until 9

We were at the Poly for 1 week in December 2015 with maintenance and construction going on and we were not disturbed at all. We had 3 DGDs taking naps each afternoon and we all enjoyed sitting on our balconies visiting while they slept. Don't let it put you off...you will love your trip.

oh thank you!! I have been wanting to do that volcano slide for years and really did not want to change hotels!

The ongoing maintenance is to balcony supports on various longhouses, and the leisure pool is not yet open. Still a few paths blocked off. Depending on your view category, might tr might not even notice.
