Polynesian Villas studio air conditioning question

I have a quick question for those of you that have recently stayed at the Polynesian in a studio villa. We were there last year and had a problem with the air conditioning. It would only go down to a certain number (maybe 70-72? I can't remember the exact number). We asked the front desk and also maintenance and were told that it would not go down any lower, they could not even over ride it as all units were set as that number to be the lowest the a/c would go. We like to sleep with the temperature cooler and I was curious if they had changed the thermostats to go lower. I'm all for saving electricity and we always turn it up when we aren't there, but we find it uncomfortable to sleep in a warmer room. Thank you!

Ours went down to 68 this weekend. It seemed pretty cold to me.

I believe it has always been, and still is, set at 68
