...would a great headline to see, wouldn't it? (Sorry, I couldn't resist.):)

The Villas at Grand Floridian have given me a serious case of addonitis. When they were announced we were a little intrigued, but now that they are nearing completion and photos of the villas are out, WOW, they seem to be among the nicest DVC rooms we've seen. Still, yes we long to stay there, but will be happy to do that without owning. If that proves difficult/impossible at the 7 month window, then we may have to consider a small add on, enough to bank and borrow to stay every few years.

Mostly, though, it's the thought of that headline, probably one of the most discussed and wished for by many on these boards, that is currently the best temporary cure for the dreaded (and wonderful) addonitis.

Okay, flame away for the nasty headline trick.:furious:

We have been resisting addonitis for 5 years, but if the Polynesian villas happen, I don't think I will be able to resist anymore!

Your mean ;)

I think the actual timeline as it is rumored to be is perfect for me . 3-5 years . Lets not deviate from the rumor mill . If it happens too soon I may not be able to buy

My sentiments exactly! I need a little time to recooperate from VGF purchase. If opening prices start in 3 years we WILL buy.

3-5 years until the Poly works perfect! Just like the time VGF was announced until the time we could actually purchase. Needed that time to recoup from our first contract at AKV. And now need a little more time to recoup from an add on purchase at VGF!! :)

DVC tends to match the Villas to the host resort. Since GF is WDW's flagship resort, it makes sense that the DVC rooms there would match.
