Polynesian vacation

We had a great vacation during the third week of Jan. at the Poly. I was there last in the 70's as a kid when WDW first opened. Now went down with my husband and 3 kids and it was just as great. I am now obsessed - I want to go back - the parks were awesome and uncrowded and the resort was beautiful and the service outstanding. I plan on going every year now in January - its the perfect vacation destination. I plan on getting the annual pass to take advantage of the resort discount - I used AAA but I think the annual pass will give me the better discount.

The AP's can definitely save you a good chunk of change if they discounts are available. If you plan it right, you can get two trips on the AP. Plan it for the second week in January one year, and the first week in January the next year.

Hey lisa10! I'm with you. I stayed at the Poly in December 2005..my first visit since the 70s with my parents...always daytrips....riding the monorail past the Polynesian and thinking about how fun it looked...then finding out it is! I'm now hooked too. I thought I'd go once, do a big expensive blowout, once in a lifetime vacation but nope...now I want to go back. I wonder what DO they put in the water down there? To keep all of us so addicted?
