Hi all! We are new Poly owners, and I’m curious what your traditions at this resort are. For example, I heard of a family that always eats at ‘Ohana on their last night to reminisce over their trip. We are a family with little ones and I would love to start traditions now to enjoy as they get older. Thank you!!

When we go with the family we always do Ohana for Breakfast, whether or not we stay there. I think its an awesome tradition!

Our family also just bought Poly, after staying cash there yearly (and sometimes more!) since our daughter was 8 months (she is just now 4 - sob). I suppose our traditions there are to take a photo of our kiddo in front of the Maui statue in the lobby to chart her growth, immediately after check in to hit up pineapple lanai and try whatever specialty dole whip they have, and for my husband to collect a new tiki mug from Trader Sams our last night there. :)

I support the photo tradition. We started the tradition in the early 1980’s of a picture on the beach at Poly with the Contemporary in the background. Not only do we have pictures of our girls growing up we also have a new background landscape with the new Poly bungalows as the background!
